At SURF Exams our goal is to help people enter the hobby or continue their progress, and connect with their local community.

Who We Are

A local exam team serving Santa Cruz County and the Monterey Bay

Our exam team is made up of experienced amateur radio operators who are ARRL-accredited volunteer examiners. Our goal is to help others get into the hobby or advance to new levels. We care about making the licensing path accessible and welcoming, while ensuring a high integrity testing process. We love to help people gain skills that will give them hours of fun, more ways to serve their communities, and new contacts across town and across the globe.
